Our guarantee and disclaimer

Confidentiality, honesty, and respect.

The coaching relationship is based on trust. The coach will treat everything the client says with complete confidentiality and no information will be shared with a third person. Where the sessions have been purchased by a third party (for example, an employer), only confirmation of the number and frequency of sessions will be provided to that person. Any other information requested will not be released without the express permission of the coachee.

There are two exceptions to our confidentiality guarantee:

  1. where a client might be a danger to him/herself or another, or

  2. an incident of mandatory reporting under 'Children First' child safety legislation.

A coach will be your guide, cheerleader, support and your team.

We guarantee a service that:

  • is non-judgmental

  • will stay with the client’s agenda at all times.

  • will respect that all decisions are made by the client, and therefore will not offer advice, or suggest a course of action.

The client acknowledges that:

  • a coach is not a licensed psychologist or health care professional and coaching services do not replace the care of psychologists or other healthcare professionals. Coaching does not prevent, cure, or treat any mental disorder or medical disease.

  • a coach is not a legal professional and cannot offer legal advice.

The client undertakes to fully engage with the coaching process, and it is the client’s responsibility to commit to agreed actions as above and to be totally honest with him/herself and the coach about any difficulties or barriers.

The coach cannot guarantee a particular outcome.   Clients who are highly invested get the best results.  Coaching is both a voyage of discovery and a results-focused process, and therefore the client's desired outcome will often change during coaching.
